M&M Alpaca Farms of NC - Logo

Please read carefully because we will not allow anyone in that is not in compliance.

You MUST have an appointment to visit the farm, either for shopping or a tour.

We are booking shopping and tour appointments for 2021! For tours, we are almost FULLY BOOKED through March. We are booking on Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays at 10am, 1pm, & 3pm.

We will be CLOSED during the week from March 16- 25th for the AOA National Alpaca Show! Wish us luck! We will still have tours on Sat at 10am, 1pm, & 3pm.

If you are interested in purchasing alpacas, please call Laina directly at 336-465-8211. This is not a decision made lightly, so serious buyers only please.

***Please read all of the requirements carefully because we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that doesn't comply with the following guidelines while on the premises.***

-On regular days, you must make an appointment in advance
-No more than 6 people per group, kids included, no more than 10 people in the shop at a time
-Masks are REQUIRED, no exceptions!
-Sanitizer will be applied before entering the building (supplied by us) and hand washing will happen after the tour before shopping

During tours, we tell you all about the alpacas, why we raise them, what they eat, shearing, fiber works, and so much more. We believe in respecting our alpacas the right to their space, meaning they choose their interaction level. They come up to the fence and give great photo opportunities, some allow petting, and some will participate in treat feeding BUT WE DO NOT GUARANTEE the exchange. We don't want you going home with spit as a souvenir.

If you'd just like to shop in the store, you still need to schedule an appointment, but we have a much more flexible schedule for these. We have lots of products on display, including lots of yarn, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, rugs, sweaters, and so much more! Products are always changing and we're always learning new tricks. We are also happy to work with customers on custom pieces as long as we have the skill and lead time to accomplish them.

Prior to COVID restrictions, we taught classes in the studio. As the vaccinations increase and restrictions lift, we will hopefully be able to fill the schedule with a lot of fun activities. The classes included crocheting, knitting, weaving, felted soaps, nesting balls, Alpaca 101, and so much more. We also love to host meetings, gatherings, and interest groups. It never hurts to ask, so if you have an idea, give Laina a call and see what we can do.
