CLOSED for July & August!!!!!

We have CLOSED the farm & studio for all of July & August. We will not be providing tours, but contact us with any questions. We will not be providing tours, but contact us with any questions. We will be happy to help fiber artists with their haul by appointment only. We will also be using this time to host some classes on weaving, crocheting, felting, possibly some evening family fun nights, etc. Stay tuned for those announcements.

When we are providing tours again in SEPTEMBER, all tours MUST be scheduled IN ADVANCE. We are already making appointments for SEPTEMBER. Email or call Laina to make an appointment. We are going to be very busy working on the farm so please leave a message if we don't answer and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

If you are interested in purchasing alpacas, please call Laina 336-465-8211. We can discuss options and any further information. This is not a decision taken lightly, so serious buyers only please.

There is a $5.00 fee per person. Discounted group rates may apply, please let us know when you schedule. Depending on the group size, class fees, or other situations as they arise, we may require prepayment.

During tours, we tell you all about the alpacas, why we raise them, what they eat, shearing, fiber works, and so much more. We believe in respecting our alpacas the right to their space, meaning they choose their interaction level. They come up to the fence and give great photo opportunities, some allow petting, and some will participate in treat feeding BUT WE DO NOT GUARANTEE the exchange. We don't want you going home with spit as a souvenir.

This is a retail space, as well. We have lots of producst on display, including lots of yarn, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, rugs, sweaters, and so much more! Products are always changing and we're always learning new tricks. We are also happy to work with customers on custom pieces as long as we have the skill and lead time to accomplish them.

As often as our schedule allows, we try to teach classes in the studio. The classes include crocheting, knitting, weaving, felted soaps, nesting balls, Alpaca 101, and so much more. We also love to host meetings, gatherings, summer camps, and interest groups. It never hurts to ask, so if you have an idea, give Laina a call and see what we can do.
